Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Loomee, an affirmation companion app operated by 21media (“we,” “us,” “our”). By downloading, installing, or using Loomee, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Definitions and Interpretation
- “App” / “Service” means the Loomee mobile application, our marketing site at
https://loomee.app, and any related services. - “Pro” means the Loomee Pro paid subscription tier.
- “Content” means affirmations, audio, music, mascot artwork, and other material made available through the Service.
- “User Content” means custom affirmations, mood entries, reflections, and other text you create within the App.
Headings are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By using Loomee, you confirm:
- You are at least 13 years old (or older where required by local law)
- You have read and agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy
- If using on behalf of another person (e.g. a minor), you have authority to bind them to these Terms
If we change these Terms (see Section 23), continued use after notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
3. Eligibility and Account Registration
3.1 Age
Loomee is rated 4+ but is not designed for children under 13. Users aged 13–17 should use Loomee under parental supervision. Users under 13 may not use Loomee.
3.2 No traditional account
Loomee uses an anonymous, device-generated UUID (device_id) as your identifier. There is no username, password, or email-based login. By using Loomee you accept that:
- Your device is effectively your "account"
- Anyone with access to your unlocked device can access your data
- We cannot recover content after you uninstall unless you had Pro (cloud sync) enabled before uninstalling
3.3 Multiple devices
Each install creates its own device_id. If you install Loomee on a second device, it does not automatically import your first device’s data.
4. Description of Service
Loomee provides:
- A curated library of affirmations across multiple wellness categories
- AI-generated affirmations tailored to your goals and mood (Pro)
- Text-to-speech narration via ElevenLabs voices, with pace control
- Background music in five genres (Silence, Nature, Piano, Ambient, Lo-fi)
- Personalization based on time of day, mood, streak, and resonance feedback
- Streak, glow score, mood tracking, and journaling
- Custom affirmations you write yourself (Pro)
- Custom and routine notifications you configure
- iOS home screen widgets (Pro)
The exact feature mix may evolve; the current state is always reflected in-app.
5. Wellness Service Disclaimer
5.1 Not medical advice
Loomee is a wellness app, not a medical, psychiatric, psychological, or psychotherapeutic service. Nothing in Loomee is medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for professional care.
5.2 Crisis resources
If you are experiencing a mental-health crisis, suicidal ideation, or other emergency:
- United States: Call or text 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline)
- United Kingdom: Call 116 123 (Samaritans)
- European Union: Call 116 123 (national Samaritans equivalents)
- Other countries: Find a crisis line at findahelpline.com
- Always: Contact your local emergency services if there is immediate danger
5.3 Limitations of affirmations
Affirmations can support a healthy mindset but are not proven to treat, prevent, or cure any medical or psychological condition. Individual responses vary. If something in Loomee distresses you, stop using it and consider speaking with a licensed professional.
6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
6.1 What AI produces
The Pro AI affirmation feature uses a large language model (Anthropic) to generate fresh affirmations. AI outputs can be:
- Repetitive across sessions
- Occasionally awkward or off-tone
- Influenced by the training data of the underlying model, with all the limitations that implies
We filter and constrain prompts to keep outputs supportive and on-brand, but edge cases happen. Report inappropriate AI output to hello@21media.online — we treat these reports seriously.
6.2 No reliance
You agree not to rely on AI-generated affirmations as factual, medical, or professional advice. They are wellness prompts, not statements of fact.
6.3 No training on your content
We do not pass your name, custom affirmations, mood notes, or reflections to the LLM for affirmation generation. We do not use your User Content to train any AI model.
7. User-Generated Content
7.1 You own your content
Custom affirmations, mood notes, reflections, and any other text you create within Loomee remain your property.
7.2 License you grant us
By saving User Content within the App, you grant 21media a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to:
- Store your User Content on the device and (for Pro users) in Supabase
- Render your User Content via TTS through ElevenLabs at your request
- Generate AI variations on your request
This license expires when you delete the content or delete your account.
7.3 No public sharing by us
Loomee has no social feed, no public profiles, and no community feature. We do not display your User Content to other users. The only public sharing is when you explicitly tap “Share” on an affirmation card (Pro) — at which point the sharing is initiated by you via the iOS share sheet.
8. Prohibited Uses
You agree not to use Loomee to create, store, or share:
- Content that is illegal, harassing, threatening, hateful, or defamatory
- Other people's personal information without their consent
- Content that infringes anyone's intellectual property rights
- Content that promotes self-harm, suicide, or harm to others
- Spam or automated abuse of any feature (especially AI generation)
You also agree not to:
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract source code
- Bypass or attempt to bypass the Pro paywall
- Tamper with sandbox StoreKit on production builds in a way that obtains paid features without payment
- Use Loomee in any way that disrupts our backend services or harms other users
- Use Loomee to develop a competing service
- Use the App on jailbroken or rooted devices in a manner that bypasses our security controls
- Use automated means (bots, scripts) to interact with the App
Violation may result in suspension of your access without refund.
9. Intellectual Property
9.1 Our content
The Loomee name, logo, mascot character, curated affirmation library, visual design, and source code are owned by 21media and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
9.2 Music tracks
Background music tracks are licensed royalty-free from Pixabay Music. The underlying rights belong to the respective artists / Pixabay. You may not extract, redistribute, or use these tracks outside the App.
9.3 Voices
ElevenLabs voice models are licensed for use within Loomee only. Generated audio is for your personal use within the App.
9.4 Permitted use
We grant you a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to use Loomee for personal, non-commercial purposes consistent with these Terms.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
How we collect and use your data is described in our Privacy Policy. The Privacy Policy is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By accepting these Terms, you also acknowledge the Privacy Policy.
11. Payment Terms and Subscriptions
11.1 Pricing
- Monthly: $9.99 USD / month after a 3-day free trial
- Yearly: $41.99 USD / year after a 3-day free trial (≈$3.50/mo, ≈67% savings vs monthly)
Prices may differ in your local currency based on Apple’s regional pricing. The exact price is shown in the paywall before you confirm purchase.
11.2 Billing through Apple
All subscriptions are processed by Apple’s App Store. By purchasing, you agree to Apple’s Terms of Service: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends
- Renewal cost is charged within 24 hours prior to the renewal date
11.3 Free trial
A 3-day free trial is available on first subscription only. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged the subscription rate.
- Trial eligibility is per Apple ID and per subscription group
- Reinstalling the app does not reset trial eligibility
- You can cancel during the trial at any time without charge
11.4 Managing your subscription
Manage or cancel:
Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → Loomee Pro → Cancel
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain Pro features until then.
11.5 Refunds
We do not process refunds directly. Refund requests go through Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com. Apple’s discretion applies. We have no control over whether a refund is granted. See our Refund Policy for details.
11.6 What Pro unlocks
- Custom affirmations you write yourself
- AI-generated affirmations (daily + on-demand)
- Custom reminders per affirmation, multiple times per day
- 3 premium voices (Lily, Matilda, Brian) in addition to Charlotte (free)
- Voice pace control
- 16 additional music tracks beyond the 5 free defaults
- Bedtime mode and Quick Boost
- Home screen widgets
- Unlimited favorites (free is capped at 5)
The exact feature mix may evolve.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- The Service is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
- 21media shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from your use of Loomee.
- Our total cumulative liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or your use of Loomee is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD $50.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations. If you are in one, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted there.
13. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold 21media harmless from any claim, loss, liability, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your User Content
- Your violation of any third-party rights
- Your use of Loomee in a manner that violates applicable law
14. Dispute Resolution
14.1 Direct resolution first
If you have a complaint, please email hello@21media.online so we can try to resolve it informally. We aim to respond within 14 days.
14.2 Court
If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved in the courts of Lithuania (see Section 15), except where local consumer-protection law gives you the right to file in your own jurisdiction.
14.3 No class actions
You agree to resolve disputes individually and not as part of a class action, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
15. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Lithuania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The courts of Lithuania have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except where mandatory local consumer-protection law overrides this.
For EU consumers, nothing in this section overrides your statutory rights under EU consumer law.
16. Termination
16.1 By you
You may stop using Loomee at any time by uninstalling the app. To wipe your data, use Settings → Delete account before uninstalling. After “Delete account,” your Supabase row is tombstoned and hard-deleted within 30 days.
16.2 By us
We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially violate these Terms, with notice except where notice is impractical (security, illegal use, or fraud). We may also discontinue the Service entirely with reasonable advance notice.
16.3 Survival
The following sections survive termination: 7.1 (you own your content), 9 (intellectual property), 12 (limitation of liability), 13 (indemnification), 15 (governing law), and 16.3 (survival).
17. Service Availability and Modifications
We do not guarantee that Loomee will be available at all times. Cloud-dependent features (TTS, AI affirmations, cloud sync, subscription validation) require an internet connection and depend on third-party services (ElevenLabs, Anthropic, Supabase, Apple). Outages happen.
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue features at any time
- Roll out OTA updates that change the App's behavior (see Section 17.1)
- Adjust subscription pricing with advance notice for renewals
17.1 OTA updates
Loomee may download over-the-air JavaScript bundle updates that change app behavior. By using Loomee, you consent to receiving these updates. Updates may add features, fix bugs, change copy, or modify any aspect of the App.
18. Third-Party Services
Loomee relies on third-party services described in our Privacy Policy: Apple (App Store + StoreKit), Supabase (data hosting), ElevenLabs (text-to-speech), Anthropic (AI generation), Sentry (crash reporting if installed), and Pixabay Music (bundled music).
Their terms apply when their services are invoked. We are not responsible for the conduct, content, or terms of any third-party service.
19. Export Control and Sanctions
You may not use Loomee if you are located in a country embargoed by the European Union or the United States, or if you are on a restricted-party list. You represent that you are not subject to such restrictions.
20. Severability and Waiver
If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. Our failure to enforce any provision does not waive our right to enforce it later.
21. Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any in-app disclosures, constitute the entire agreement between you and 21media regarding Loomee. They supersede any prior agreement on this subject.
22. Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights without our prior written consent. 21media may assign these Terms freely, e.g. in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
23. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. When we make material changes, we will:
- Bump the "Last updated" date at the top
- Surface an in-app banner on next launch summarizing the change
- Email you (where we have a contact address) if the change is significant
Continued use after notice indicates acceptance. If you don’t accept, stop using the App and request deletion via Settings.
